The Revolution is Coming for California College Republicans

With the simultaneous launch of a Facebook group and website, the first slate for the leadership of California College Republicans was announced this morning. Spearheaded by Michael Antonopoulos and Falicia Mandel, the ticket put forward a list of experienced, capable, and energetic candidates.

Under the tag line, Revolutionize CCR, their platform calls for an active grassroots movement using, new media, a local focus, and high-tech communication, to win elections for Republicans across the Golden State.

The Dana Report is proud to endorse Revolutionize CCR. We look forward to the revolution!

kinda strange when the establishment that has been in power for over five years calls itself a revolution…seems like this is what is wrong with our party…oh well i guess we don’t have a choice!

VIVA La Revolution! VIVA Fidel…uhmm ANTON!

Care to attach your name to that comment? Or does it just feel more safe when you attack someone anonymously?
If you don’t support Anton because you think he’s an establishment candidate, I’d recommend you look for someone running against him that can equal his qualifications, experience, and dedication to the success of CCR.
Can you think of anyone? Oh, that’s why you’re anonymous…

I could attach a few names that believe this sediment. It streams from North California to South. And its not the establishment that really matters its the fact that the accomplishments that CCR has done this year can be counted on one hand. more like a couple fingers.

C’mon guys, this isn’t CRNation (no offense, love the site) it would be awesome if you could identify yourself when commenting. I know you don’t speak for all of USC CRs, nor all of Southern Region, because members of both are slated for the Revolutionize CR team, so, for the benefit of our readers, let us know your name.
Now, sediment does not stream, it sits, and that’s not what we want CCR. Let us know when TakeBackCCR.com (retread?) is up, and we can have a real conversation about the future of CCR, and what those running in opposition to Anton’s ticket expect to accomplish in CCR leadership. Revolutionize CCRs platform is up at RevolutionizeCCR.com, and when they win, we’ll be in for a great year.

I completely agree with Alan. When you are not willing to state concrete facts in support of your claims, your rhetoric becomes synonymous to that of “The ONE,” no to mention the lamest vp ever Al Gore,( “inventor” of the internet, Nobel Prize winner).

Please do everyone a big favor and refrain from the further embarrassment of yourselves by simply bringing verifiable evidence to the forefront of your argument; otherwise appropriately stand down.

Thanks for the support guys! Don’t get caught up in pointless bickering, there are always people who say others did not do enough, and they are usually the ones who did the least.

Alan were you even around for TakeBackCCR? i suggest that you were not. I was, it seems this election with 5 potential slates, could get nasty, i have heard personal attacks coming from Revolution’s slate. mainly pointed at Ben and Alvaro. Politics are Politics, keep it just that, personal attacks are just unnessessary. correct?

  8. Alan January 13, 2009 at 10:30 pm #

Yup, no need for personal attacks here. That’s why I’d like people to identify themselves when commenting. You just brought up two names, of people I know well and who are contributors to this site, while keeping your own hidden… And you brought up Take Back CCR, you listed it as your last email and website when you commented as USC CRs.

I’ll keep the anonymous comments that have been posted so far just so that the other comments can be clearly understood. From now on anonymous comments will be removed from the site if they involve indiscriminate personal attacks.
