Breaking: Second Slate to Announce for California College Republican Leadership

Sources report that a second slate is about to announce in the California College Republican race. Ben Myers, Chair
Matthew Schenk, Co-Chair
Alvaro Day, Admin vice-chair
Misty Tienken, Treasurer
Ryan McNicholas, Executive Director
Sydney Hilario, Secretary
Marshall Roe, LA Regional Vice Chair

Wow, I can’t say I was expecting that. While I consider myself an independent, that always appreciates competition to keep things honest, it seems like this is a pretty divisive move when you conservatives should be closing ranks and holding on to what little bits of California you have left. Good luck with that. I thought we would get at least a few months into 2009 before you guys started Nadering each other. Nice to see things are in full gear even before Obama gets into office. Pardon my sarcasm, I’m honestly amused.
As a side note: I know I’ve seen that Marshall Roe name before, doesn’t he run that “America’s Messenger” blog?

It’s funny that you found “America’s Messenger.” We were also shocked to find Marshall Roe connected to that blog, but have since done some research and found that it is a fake attack site against Marshall, it is not his own site. We had written a post about it that I can’t seem to find right now, but here is an article about it in the PCC Courier.

Umm… who?

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but only one of these people has held a state board position and none has been a chapter chair other than Myers himself. How nice of them to go title-mongering like that.

I agree with Wolf that during this time Conservatives need to stick together considering the fact that in less than 24 hours Obama will be the next President, but that’s what makes the election in California College Republicans so important this year. As an organization will have to be able to work together to promote Republican political activism regardless of what slate any individual is on or supports, but that’s what makes this organization great. I still am LA Vice Chair and I will continue to help and support the clubs in my region because as a party we have to stick together.

i find this list of people on the second slate very interesting. You are citing CRnation, which is unaccurate at best. and truth is fairly accurate but doesnt do much research in their articles as i know the author who authors it.

Actually CRNation cites us directly. The info is as accurate as our sources reported it. I don’t understand the rest of your comment, but I’m sure you can enlighten us as to the accuracy of the slate.

Alan, i actually cannot comment. i mean that crnation is usually refered by many as a site that is a conduct for misinformation, thats all. time ..
