California College Republican Candidates Embrace New Media

The Revolutionize CCR ticket, headed by Michael Antonopoulos, updated their platform today after a weekend retreat full of new ideas, and brainstorming on the future of CCR. They’ve included a YouTube video explaining how they will use new media to revolutionize the way CCR conducts business, help chapters better serve Republican candidates across the state, and empower grassroots efforts on campuses.

You can find the updated platform at RevolutionizeCCR.com

I don’t understand how this slate can claim to want to do all these things but they can’t do any of these things now even though most of them currently sit on CCR’s Board of Directors. Does that make any sense?

Well no, it doesn’t. Every club chair is a member of the board of directors, so any club chair on any slate currently sits on the board. Secondly this has been a successful year for CCR, you claim nothing has been done, give some evidence, and explain what another slate could do better. Otherwise these sound like great ideas to me and I hope Revolutionize will be able to implement them after the April elections.

People who like to criticize the Revolutionize slate for not doing enough for CCR should take a moment to reflect on what they have done for CCR.
