Egypt Rails Against Iran and It’s Allies
In a statement that US President Barack Obama could not even give, Egyptian Foreign Minister Aboul Gheit attacked Iran and it’s terrorist proxies Hamas and Hizballah. “(They tried) to turn the region to confrontation in the interest of Iran, which is trying to use its cards to escape Western pressure … on the nuclear file,” Gheit said.
Meanwhile, Iran sees the Democrat administration’s overtures to “change” the US’s hard line approach to the Islamic Republic, as a weakness. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad called on President Obama to appologize to Iran for “past crimes,” and stated that “Change means giving up support for the rootless, uncivilized, fabricated, murdering … Zionists.” Iran also rejected US calls for an end to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, an official said there are “no non-peaceful activities to suspend.”
So Barack… Still think talking can solve the world’s problems?
