Two Slates, Two Platforms, 7 Weeks to Ca CR Elections

Dana Report readers already know that there are two slates running for leadership of the California College Republicans; Revolutionize CCR headed up by Michael Antonopoulos, and Red State Rising headed by Adam Ellison. The drama has already been boiling over in a way that only CR drama can, rumors, gossip, backstabbing, and online comment wars.

We’ve had a platform from Revolutionize since January, and now we have one from Red State Rising, it’s time to look at both, look at the candidates, and decide who you think will be the best leaders to take CCR into the first year of the Obama administration and the 2010 election cycle.

The Revolutionize CCR platform is here, at RevolutionizeCCR.com. The Red State Rising platform is here, in PDF. (We’ve heard the RSR website should be up by the end of the week.)

I’d be very curious to see more specifics on Red States new media strategy.

    Hello, Alan,
Neither platform I read resonates “Conservatism” ala Rush Limbaugh who – as you know – speaks as though he is in our brains. Revolutionize has a website up (a plus) but no one will read it – too light a font color and too wordy paragraphs. Red State Rising has the better name but is caught up with cliches and worn out phrases that don’t have meaning to anyone anymore. Where is the Life? The Heart? Do either have a dynamic speaker who might have a piece on YouTube I could look at? I am going to fill a spot on a debate/discussion on GOP politics and am looking around. I’m glad I happened to check your blog out. Good stuff.

    Take care,

Nancy – prez. Los Angeles Cnty Fed of Republican Women

Oh Ostunio, quick to criticize under your fake name, i’d be happy to discuss the current new media initiatives in great detail if you would like to me to.
