The White House is denying that the president of the United States bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia. An aide to the president said that Obama merely “grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah.” Either Obama has a serious problem with his depth perception–the Saudi King is not two feet tall–or, this is the lamest excuse for what was clearly a bow in reverence to the King.
