Obama Blocks Congress From Hasan Probe
In the aftermath of the massacre at Fort Hood and the deaths of fourteen people, some members of Congress demanded investigations into why the Army and the FBI failed to identify and stop Major Nidal Malik Hasan before he had an opportunity to commit mass murder.
Some of the revelations from Hasan’s past, including communications with an al-Qaeda recruiter in Yemen, have Rep. Pete Hoekstra and Sen. Joe Lieberman promising to conduct separate investigations into the failure of counterterrorism efforts.
President Obama warned Congress to “stay out of it,” claiming that “the stakes are far too high.”

Why not allow Congress to investigate this matter Mr. President? After all Mr. President, it was under your watch that our great nation sustained the first terrorist act to occur on U.S. soil since 9/11. It’s high time you pull your head out of your personal sand dune and recognize that the United States IS in a War on Terrorism and that Islamic Radicals have declared war against the United States. Rather than apologizing for water-boarding terrorist scumbags, crippling our Intelligence Community with civilian trials for military matters, and bowing to everyone in sight, how about you give the brave men and women of our armed forces all the resources they need to finish what the enemy started on 9/11.
