Barack ‘Osama’ on New York County’s Ballots

New York’s Rensselaer County election officials were embarrassed when they discovered that they had sent absentee ballots to 300 voters with Barack Obama’s last name spelled ‘Osama’. This is obviously a mistake… but, it’s pretty funny.

New Film – The Third Jihad

The American Islamic Forum has released it’s new film, The Third Jihad.

From the film’s website:

The Third Jihad exposes the war the media is not telling you about.

It reveals the enemy our government is too afraid to name.

One person who is not afraid to tell you the truth is Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim American and former physician to the US Congress.

After the FBI releases a radical Islamist manifesto describing how to destroy America from within, Dr. Jasser decides to investigate.

The Third Jihad is about what he discovered.

Interviews are conducted with radical Islamists in the US and the leaders trying to stop them, such as Rudy Giuliani, Clinton CIA Director Jim Woolsey, NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Senator Joe Lieberman, former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, and former terrorist group member Tawfik Hamid.

Rudy Guliani has called this film “a wake-up call for America.”

What is the third Jihad?

The first Jihad lasted up until the 1400′s, when Islam moved trough the Arabian peninsula, and into northern Africa. The second Jihad was essentially the Ottoman Empire, and the movement of Islamic forces throughout the Middle East and into Europe. The third Jihad, the one we see today, is attempting to overturn liberal, secular, western societies and replace them with a coercive Islamic government.

Why a vote for McCain is so important.

Many Conservatives were fired-up by the selection of Sarah Palin, then cooled down when the McCain campaign decided to hide her and then drop her into the jaws of the lib-media establishment. Now she’s been freed, but the McCain campaign has still found itself unable to launch an all-out attack on the legitimate questions surrounding Obama’s qualifications for leader of the free-world. While our lovely and courageous Sarah brings up Ayers and Rezko at her rallies, McCain decided not to bring them up at the last presidential debate (when it could have made the most impact).

Now, many Conservatives will argue that they were right to be wary of McCain from the beginning, and that some time spent in the wilderness will do a lot to revive the Conservative movement and cleanse the Republican party. Ross Douthat, writes about just this problem at The Atlantic, and why Conservatives should be careful what we wish for:

The convergence of an economic crisis and complete Democratic control of Washington should alarm even those conservatives eager to wash their hands of the GOP. The best reason for even the most disaffected right-winger to root for a McCain victory is simple: To the extent that much of the progressive agenda is a program in search of a crisis to justify its implementation, an election that delivers a liberal candidate who’s adored by the media to White House, gives him huge majorities in both houses of Congress, and presents him with a worldwide state of emergency in which to govern, has the potential to be not just another loss for conservatives, but a once-in-a-generation defeat.
In Up From Liberalism (1959), William F. Buckley Jr. said that, “Conservatism must insist that while the will of man is limited in what it can do, it can do enough to make over the face of the world; and the question that must always be before us is, what shape should the world take, given modern realities?” Taking a look at today’s realities, sitting back and handing the reigns of the Nation to the most liberal, and most unqualified, presidential candidate in memory, and to the most hated liberal congress in history, (and in a time of economic turmoil!) is a recipe for disaster. Four years of radical liberal leadership, with no checks from a liberal congress (at least until 2010) and the possibility to remake the Supreme Court with just one or two appointments, will truly change the face of the American world. John McCain may be far from perfect, but he is at least aiming in the same general direction as the average American; Obama will be a complete 180 and a sharp tilt towards socialism that will be tough to fight back from.
On the brighter side, Victor Davis Hanson says McCain still has a real chance, at NRO.

New Book on Mark Steyn’s “Human Rights” Case

Mark Steyn’s “human rights” trial in Canada is the perfect example of political-correctness gone mad. Islamists and Islamo-fascist sympathizers, as well as “multi-culti” Liberal morons, charged Mark Steyn with “Islamophobia” for commiting the hatecrime of writing an insightful and important book, America Alone (not really, it was actually over an exerpt from the book. in which he is writing about a novel!).

Check out: The Tyrany of Nice, by Kathy Shaidle and Pete Vere

From SteynOnline:

Kathy Shaidle and Pete Vere lift the rock on Canada’s thought police in their new volume published this week. The Tyranny Of Nice is the book of the show trial of the magazine excerpt of the original hate crime (America Alone). It’s a great read, not just about the Steyn case and the Ezra Levant cartoon showdown but about all the other travesties of justice that have received far less publicity, beginning with the outrageous and totalitarian lifetime speech ban on the Reverend Stephen Boissoin. From transsexual labiaplasties to hygiene-free hamburger joints, Kathy and Pete examine the many exotic new “human rights” that have supplanted the old, real human rights, like free speech, the presumption of innocence and the right to a free trial. We here at Hatemonger Central are delighted to be able to offer The Tyranny Of Nice for sale to readers around the world, and I’ll be happy to autograph it, too.

Obama Secretly Tried to Influence Iraq Policy

From the Washington Times:

EXCLUSIVE:

At the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders in private conversations that the president shouldn’t be allowed to enact the deal without congressional approval.

Mr. Obama’s conversations with the Iraqi leaders, confirmed to The Washington Times by his campaign aides, began just two weeks after he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in June and stirred controversy over the appropriateness of a White House candidate’s contacts with foreign governments while the sitting president is conducting a war.

Barack is a Dangerous Choice

The McCain campaign continues to hit Barack Obama on his poor judgment, in choosing people such as William Ayers and Rashid Khalidi as friends and colleagues.

New McCain campaign ad:

John McCain really missed an opportunity when he failed to bring up Barack Obama’s friends at the “debate” on Tuesday. The last 20 years of Barack Obama’s public life are his record. John McCain has been an elected official for 26 years, and has a tried-and-true record of reform with, pro-growth economic policies, and a strong national security stance.  Obama’s public life includes his participaion in the Annenberg Challenge, and the Woods foundation; his time as a trainer for ACORN and his active participation in Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church—in the Illinois Legistature he usually voted present, and as a Senator in Washington, he ran for President.

Barack under-performs the generic democrat ticket, they only like him because he’s “cool,” and he’s not a Republican. Those are bad reasons to choose a President. He’s a big risk.

John McCain is a war hero, he’d better start fighting.
